Composer
Arranger
Liz's composition and arranging career took off when her arrangement of the Theme Song from Late Night with Seth Meyers was spotted online and featured on NBC's Late Night show in 2014. This sudden appearance on national television catapulted her music into the spotlight, and has since been heard by national and international audiences on both television and radio such as WHEC, WXXI, and Abbey 104. Her arrangements have also been featured live at the International Double Reed Society Conference, Eastman School of Music's Double Reed Christmas and Holiday Sing, and the Mostly Modern Festival. For five years, she arranged and toured her music with her group, Project Bassoon Quartet, during the holiday season to raise money for St. Jude Children's Hospital as part of Brooks Brothers' annual "Thanks and Giving" event.
While many of her compositions and arrangements are for chamber winds, Liz thoroughly enjoys writing music for comedy. She has provided music for live stand-up shows (Broadway Comedy Club), Sketch Comedy (Better on Paper), and TikTok (Hey Roommate! Comedy). Liz's inspiration for arrangements and compositions the sounds and structure of classical music with the modern and unusual sounds of winds, percussion and electronics. Although Liz is new to screen scoring, she has already scored projects including the NY International Film Award-Winning Trailer for Gold Coast (Cody Louis Cohen), the short film RealTimeStrategy with the New York City Short Film Club, and miscellaneous projects for screen.

for Bassoon Quartet (2015), Version for Wind Quintet (2022)
Nico Lodeon DiBunni was a Holland Lop Rabbit I raised from nine weeks old until he passed away in 2021 at almost six years of age. Before I brought Nico home in September of 2015, I started to write him what was to become this lullaby. I knew that when he came to his new home he would feel lost and scared and I wanted to make sure that he felt safe with me. What started as a short piano melody evolved over time into a bassoon quartet arrangement that has been performed live several times in the past five years, including at the 2018 Mostly Modern Festival and WXXI's Backstage Pass. The version for Wind Quintet was premiered in February 2023 with Quinception. This piece was written out of pure love for my little boy, Nico.
